Ph.D. Exemption Conditions (UGC Rules Apply)

Ph.D candidates registered before 11 July 2009 must fulfill conditions such as:

  • Regular mode Ph.D

  • Thesis evaluated by at least two examiners

  • Open viva conducted

  • Minimum two research publications

  • Minimum two conference presentations

NET exemption also applicable if:

  • NET is not conducted in the subject

  • Ph.D obtained from top 500 ranked global universities (QS / THE / ARWU)
