About the Foundation Programme

Role Summary

Teaching Assistants (Studio Associates) work closely with faculty to support lectures, discussions, and studio-based learning. TAs play a key role in facilitating afternoon studio sessions, mentoring students, encouraging collaboration, and creating inclusive learning environments.

Qualifications

Applicants with any of the following are eligible:

  • BA / BCom / BBA

  • MA / MCom / MBA

  • Bachelors or Masters in Architecture, Planning, Geography

About FYIS

The First Year Interdisciplinary Seminar (FYIS) is a mandatory course for all first-year undergraduate students. The seminar focuses on critical reading, academic writing, analytical thinking, peer review, and responsible use of generative AI tools.

Role Summary

Teaching Assistants support faculty-led seminars by facilitating discussions, guiding student writing, providing feedback, and helping students engage with complex texts and arguments. The role suits individuals passionate about writing, mentoring, and pedagogy.

Qualifications

  • BA / BS / BBA

  • MA / MS / MBA

  • Bachelors or Masters in Architecture, Planning, Geography, or related fields
