The Indian Institute of Information Technology Sri City, Chittoor (IIITS) is an Institute of National Importance, set up by the Government of India (MHRD), Government of Andhra Pradesh, and Industry Partners (Sri City Foundation) under a Not-for-Profit Public Private Partnership (N-PPP). The Institute focuses on teaching and research in core areas of Computer Science, Electronics, Communications, and IT applications with emphasis on industry and societal needs.

📌 Research Position

  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Project Title:
Explainable AI and Distributed Edge Computing for Analyzing Healthcare Data Using Internet of Medical Things

🎓 Essential Qualifications

  • Option I: Master’s Degree in Engineering/Technology or equivalent in relevant area with minimum CGPA 6.5/10 or 60% marks.

  • Option II: B.E./B.Tech. in CS/IT/AI/AI-DS or related discipline from Institutes/Universities with NIRF Engineering Ranking within top 100 (last 3 years) or Institutes of National Importance with minimum 80% or 8.0 CGPA, and a valid GATE/NET score.

Desirable Skills:

  • IoT/Hardware experience

  • MATLAB / Python programming / simulation tools

📅 Project Duration

💰 Fellowship

  • JRF: ₹37,000 + HRA (first 2 years)

  • SRF: ₹42,000 + HRA (from 3rd year onwards)

👉 Selected candidates may also be eligible for full-time Ph.D. admission at IIIT Sri City as per institute norms.
