  • Grade-II (Contract): Less than 3 years post-Ph.D teaching / research / industrial experience

  • Grade-I (Regular): Minimum 3 years post-Ph.D experience

Associate Professor

  • Minimum 6 years teaching / research / industry experience

  • At least 3 years as Assistant Professor (Level 12) in IITs / IISc / IIMs / IISERs or equivalent institutes

  • Proven research contributions, Ph.D guidance, patents, publications, lab development

Professor

  • Minimum 10 years teaching / research / industry experience

  • At least 4 years as Associate Professor in institutes of national importance

  • Proven leadership in specialization, Ph.D guidance, strong publication and patent record
