Essential Qualification

For Life Sciences Division

  • M.Sc. in any branch of Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Zoology

  • M.Pharm / MS Pharm

For Physical Sciences Division

  • M.Sc. in Physics or Chemistry

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must satisfy the following:

1️⃣ Minimum 55% marks in post-graduation (50% for SC/ST)
2️⃣ Valid National Ph.D. Research Fellowship qualification:

  • CSIR-NET JRF / UGC-NET JRF / DBT-JRF / ICMR-JRF
    OR

  • CSIR/UGC-NET Category-2 (Assistant Professor eligibility + PhD admission)

  • CSIR/UGC-NET Category-3 (PhD admission only)

  • JEST qualified candidates with valid score

Monthly Fellowship

  • ₹37,000 + HRA as per DST, Govt. of India norms
    (Joining from 1st January 2026)
