Organization Profile:   The Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Govt. of India is working and aiming for the empowerment of persons with disabilities since its commencement. This ministry is serving the disabled through its seven delivery models. These are conducting awareness, sensitization, and HRD programs, undertaking research & development, providing assistive devices and livelihood for persons with disabilities (PwD) in the year 1980 which reinforces the idea of serving the disabled.

Qualification: 

• Assistant Professor
  • Essential:
    1. M. Phil in Clinical or Rehabilitation Psychology (Full time course) (recognized by RCI).
    2. Registration with RCI.
    3. Minimum 5 years experience in teaching/research in related field.
    Desirable:
    1. Ph. D in the field of rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities.
• Lecturer
  • Essential:
    1. Masters in Physiotherapy from a recognized Institute (Full Time).
    2. Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching/research in related field.
    Desirable: 1. Possessing any RCI recognized qualification
• Lecturer
  • Essential:
    1. Masters in Occupational Therapy from a recognized Institute (Full Time).
    2. Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching/research in field of rehabilitation.
    Desirable: 1. Possessing any RCI recognized qualification
• Accountant
  • Essential:
    1. Commerce graduate from recognized University with hands on knowledge of computer and Tally.
    2. Minimum 3 years experience in handling accounts/cash in Govt. or Semi Govt. Establishment/Autonomous bodies /Public Sector Undertaking/Semi Government/Quasi Govt.
    Desirable: 1. M.Com/MBA (Fin.)

Pay Scale:

• Assistant Professor- Rs.75,000/-
• Lecturer- Rs.60,000/-
• Accountant- Rs.45,000/-
