Designation: Teaching Associates
Role: Teaching Associate / Teaching Assistant will play a valued and vital role in the process of conducting the Studios and courses. They will influence, motivate, advise, and inspire students to achieve academic and personal success. They also act as a bridge between instructors and students.
Responsibility: Teaching Associate / Teaching Assistant will oversee the general progress of all students and strive towards nurturing a good learning culture which encourages an exchange of ideas. They will also assist tutors in preparing for the Units with academic research, administration, logistics, and coordination as required. They are expected to be present (online or on-campus) during the class hours and participate in all discussions and develop resource material for the studios and courses.
Engagement: Studio Teaching Associate / Teaching Assistant will need to spend 400 hours per semester whereas Course Teaching Associate / Teaching Assistant will need to spend 80 hours per semester.
Remuneration: will be the standard TA hourly rates as applicable
Tenure: Appointment of Teaching Associate / Teaching Assistant will be for a minimum period of one semester. Teaching Associate / Teaching Assistant must confirm their availability for the full duration of the semester.
Qualification:
- Current CEPT students in good academic standing and not enrolled in any studio course.
- Individuals with Undergraduate or Postgraduate Degree in the relevant field. Prior work professional / academic experience is not mandatory.
- Application is open to Indian Nationals, and others authorized to work in India.
