Organization Profile: The Central University of Odisha established by the Parliament through the Central Universities Act of 2009 (3C of 2009). It is among the 15 new Central Universities created by the Government of India. The UGC XI Plan period, aimed at addressing issues of “equity and access.” This initiative aligns with the Government of India’s policy to enhance access to quality higher education for individuals in districts with lower educational development, those with a Graduate Enrolment Ratio in the national average of 11%.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Candidates must possess a Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale where applicable) in a relevant or allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized foreign institution. candidates must have successfully cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or CSIR, or hold a Ph.D. or a similar examination such as SLET/SET accredited by the UGC.

Candidate Profile:

Candidates should have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in the relevant field with commendable academic records. Excellent communication skills are essential. Candidates should demonstrate a strong passion for teaching and mentoring students, as well as a solid research background.

Job Location: Koraput, Odisha

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will receive an honorarium of ₹ 1500/- per lecture, with a maximum monthly payment of ₹ 50,000/-.
