Position: Vice Chancellor
DSU is seeking a visionary leader with an engineering background to drive its next phase of growth. The ideal candidate will champion academic innovation, interdisciplinary research, and global collaborations while aligning with the university’s mission of excellence and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the university’s strategic initiatives in education, research, and innovation.
- Strengthen industry and research partnerships, particularly in AI, Quantum Computing, Data Science, and Cybersecurity.
- Oversee accreditation processes (NAAC A+/A, NBA, ABET, AACSB) and improve NIRF/QS rankings.
- Promote entrepreneurship and incubation programs, including DSU’s Net-Zero Campus Vision and AI Maker Labs.
- Foster a culture of inclusivity, interdisciplinary collaboration, and global academic standards.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Education: Ph.D. in Engineering or a related field, with a distinguished academic and research record.
- Experience:
- Proven leadership as Vice Chancellor, Dean, or Director in NAAC A+/A-grade institutions.
- Expertise in securing accreditations (NBA, ABET, AACSB) and improving institutional rankings.
- Strong track record in industry collaborations and emerging technologies.
- Skills:
- Strategic vision for higher education and research.
- Ability to drive innovation and sustainability initiatives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
