1. School of Computing

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Dean: Ph.D. with 15+ years of experience (Academics/Research/Industry)

  • Professor: Ph.D. with 12+ years of experience

  • Associate Professor: Ph.D. with 7+ years of experience

  • Assistant Professor: Ph.D. (or M.Tech with 2+ years of experience)

Salary (As per AICTE norms):

  • Dean: ₹50 LPA and above

  • Professor: ₹33 LPA and above

  • Associate Professor: ₹27.5 LPA and above

  • Assistant Professor: ₹7.5 LPA – ₹15 LPA

2. Computer Applications (MCA Department)

Positions:

  • Professor

  • Associate Professor

  • Assistant Professor

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in relevant discipline (preferably from IIMs/NITs/IITs/Foreign Universities)

  • Strong research background with publications in reputed journals

Salary Range:

  • Professor: ₹27.5 LPA

  • Associate Professor: ₹25 LPA

  • Assistant Professor: ₹11 LPA

3. Engineering Departments

MITS is also hiring faculty for Civil, Mechanical, ECE, and EEE departments.

Key Requirements:

  • Professor: Ph.D. + 12+ years of experience

  • Associate Professor: Ph.D. + 7+ years of experience

  • Assistant Professor: Ph.D. + 3+ years of experience

Salary (AICTE Scale):

  • Professor: ₹27.5 LPA

  • Associate Professor: ₹25 LPA

  • Assistant Professor: ₹11 LPA

4. Management Studies (MBA Department)

Positions Available:

Eligibility:

  • Ph.D. from IIMs/NIRF-ranked institutes preferred

  • Industry experience will be an added advantage

Salary:

  • Professor: ₹27.5 LPA

  • Assistant Professor: ₹11 LPA

5. Basic Sciences & Humanities

Departments:

  • English

  • Mathematics

  • Physics

  • Chemistry

Positions:

  • Professor (15+ years exp.) – ₹27.5 LPA

  • Associate Professor (10+ years exp.) – ₹25 LPA
