The National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC), a premier institution of national importance, invites applications for the position of Temporary Faculty (Part-Time) in the Department of Education for the Monsoon Semester 2025-26. Position Details

  • Post: Temporary Faculty (Part-Time)

  • Department: Education (EDN)

  • Semester: Monsoon 2025-26 (July–December 2025)

  • Remuneration: ₹1,500 per hour, with a maximum ceiling of ₹35,000 per month.

  • Maximum Age Limit: 65 years.

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications:

  1. Postgraduate degree in Education (M.Ed.) with First Class (60% or 6.5/10 CGPA) at UG and PG levels.

    • For SC/ST candidates: 55% or 6.0/10 CGPA.

  2. Ph.D. in Education (candidates who have submitted their thesis may also apply).

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in psychology, Philosophy, Sociology, or allied subjects.

  • Retired professionals from higher educational institutions with strong academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Exclusions:

  • Candidates who have served as Adhoc/Temporary Faculty at NITC for 5 or more semesters are not eligible.
