The National Institute of Technology Raipur (NITRR), an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, invites applications for temporary positions (Research Associate and Research Assistant) for an ICSSR-funded project titled *“NEP 2020 and Challenges, Prospects, and Future Directions for Divyangjan – An Empirical Study of Selected State Board Syllabi with NCERT as a Benchmark.”*

Position Details

1. Research Associate (01 Post)

  • Nature of Post: Temporary (co-terminus with the project)

  • Remuneration: ₹47,000/month (consolidated) + TA/DA for fieldwork

  • Tenure: 1 month (extendable based on performance)

  • Essential Qualifications:

    • Postgraduate in Social Sciences (55% or equivalent) with NET/M.Phil/PhD

    • 2 years of research experience

  • Desirable Skills:

    • Experience in field surveys, data analysis (STATA/R), and research projects

    • Proficiency in English and Hindi

    • Willingness to travel (field-based project)

2. Research Assistant (01 Post)

  • Nature of Post: Temporary (co-terminus with the project)

  • Remuneration: ₹37,000/month (consolidated) + TA/DA for fieldwork

  • Tenure: 2 months (extendable based on performance)

  • Essential Qualifications:

    • Postgraduate in Social Sciences (55% or equivalent)

  • Desirable Skills:

    • Prior research experience, survey conduction, and data analysis (STATA/R)

    • Proficiency in English and Hindi

    • Willingness to travel

    • Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview at Dept. of Humanities & Social Sciences, NIT Raipur.

  3. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct field surveys and data collection on NEP 2020 implementation.

  • Analyze state board syllabi in comparison with NCERT benchmarks.

  • Assist in report writing, policy recommendations, and statistical analysis.
