Position Details

Designation: Assistant Professor – Information Technology
Department: IT
Job Type: Full-time
Location: MIBM Campus, Mulshi, Pune
Salary: As per VIth Pay Commission norms (commensurate with experience)

Key Responsibilities

Academic Duties:
✔ Deliver engaging lectures in IT and related business technology subjects
✔ Develop industry-relevant course content and case studies
✔ Mentor students on academic projects and digital competencies
✔ Conduct research and publish in peer-reviewed journals

Technical Management:
🖥️ Maintain campus IT infrastructure (hardware/software/networking)
🔧 Troubleshoot systems, printers, and AV equipment
📊 Administer ERP/LMS platforms and digital tools
📱 Manage institute’s social media (LinkedIn/Instagram/Facebook)
🛡️ Implement cybersecurity protocols and software updates

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree: MCA/M.Tech/PGDM in IT or related field

  • 1-3 years combined teaching/industry experience

  • Proficiency in:

    • Windows/Linux systems

    • Digital collaboration tools

    • Basic cybersecurity principles

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Canva/Photoshop for content creation

  • Social media management expertise

  • ERP/LMS administration knowledge
