Position Overview

The university is seeking a highly qualified, motivated, and research-oriented academician for the position of Associate Professor in the Pharmacognosy department. The ideal candidate will contribute to teaching, curriculum development, and high-impact research.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

For the Post of Associate Professor:

  • Educational Background:

    • A First Class Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree.

    • A Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) degree in Pharmacognosy or a closely related specialization. All qualifications must be PCI recognized.

  • Mandatory Registration: Must be registered as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.

  • Research Output:

    • A minimum of 7 publications in SCI-indexed, peer-reviewed, or UGC-listed journals.

    • A minimum Research Score of 75 as per UGC norms.

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of full-time teaching and/or research experience at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent in a PCI-approved/recognized Pharmacy college.
