Tamilnadu College of Engineering (TNCE) was established in 1984 by the Tamilnadu Technical Education Foundation. Founded by eminent educators Lion T.N. Palanisame B.A., MJF (Late) and Dr. P.V. Ravi, Ph.D., TNCE is recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu, approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and affiliated to Anna University.

The college offers UG and PG programs across multiple disciplines with permanent affiliation for 9 UG courses. Several programs, including CSE, Mechanical, Civil, ECE, and AI & DS, are accredited by NBA, AICTE.
