KIT – Kalaignarkarunanidhi Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, is an autonomous institution established in 2008 by Vijayalakshmi Palanisamy Charitable Trust. The institute offers 13 UG, 7 PG, and 7 Ph.D. programmes. Approved by AICTE, affiliated to Anna University, Chennai, accredited with ‘A’ grade by NAAC, and 6 NBA-accredited programmes, the institute has been ranked in the 201-300 band in NIRF (Ministry of Education, Government of India).

Position:

Research Faculty

Qualification:

  • Ph.D. / Master’s Degree in relevant discipline from a recognized institution

  • Minimum 10 years of teaching and research experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong research credentials with publications in reputed journals (SCI, WoS, Scopus indexed)

  • Lead independent research groups aligned with institutional thrust areas

  • Undertake cutting-edge interdisciplinary and applied research in collaboration with industry/academia

  • Secure extramural funding from government, industry, and international bodies

  • Guide Ph.D., M.Tech/M.E., and UG students in research

  • Publish regularly in high-impact peer-reviewed journals and present at national/international conferences

  • Translate research outcomes into patents, prototypes, and products

  • Maintain high ethical research standards and comply with institutional/national policies
