📘 Qualifications and Eligibility

1. Dentistry

  • Essential:

    1. A recognized Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree included in Part I of the Dentists Act, 1948 OR equivalent qualification under Part II or Part III (as per the Act and regulations).

    2. A Postgraduate degree in Dental Surgery from a recognized University/Institution.

    3. Registration with any State Dental Council or Dental Tribunal in India.

    4. Minimum 3 years teaching experience in the specialty as Tutor/Demonstrator/Registrar/Senior Resident/Lecturer after obtaining the requisite postgraduate qualification from an MCI/NMC/DCI recognized teaching institute.

2. College of Nursing – Assistant Professor (Lecturer in Nursing)

  • Essential:

    1. Master’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized University/Institution.

    2. Registered Nurse and Midwife (RN & RM).

    3. Five years of total experience, with at least two years in teaching from a recognized Nursing Council/State Nursing Council approved institute.

💰 Pay Scale

  • Assistant Professor (Dentistry):
    Level 12 of the Pay Matrix — Minimum ₹1,01,500/- plus NPA (for medically qualified candidates), with provision to move to Level 13 after three years.

  • Assistant Professor (Lecturer in Nursing):
    Level 11 of the Pay Matrix — ₹67,700 – ₹2,08,700/- per month.
