Assistant Professor (on Contract)

Qualifications and Experience:

For Department of Safety and Fire Engineering (Sl. No. 1):

  • B.Tech / B.E. in Safety and Fire Engineering or equivalent

  • M.Tech / M.E. in Industrial Safety with First Class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech

  • Desirable: Two years of experience in industry, research organization, or teaching at UG/PG level in Safety and Fire Engineering

For Department of Applied Science and Humanities (Sl. No. 2):

As prescribed by the UGC norms for Assistant Professors:

  • Master’s degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in a relevant subject from a recognized University.

  • Candidates must have cleared NET/SET/SLET or hold a Ph.D. in accordance with UGC Regulations 2009/2016 and their amendments.

  • Candidates with a Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked among the top 500 by QS/THE/ARWU are also eligible.

Salary (Consolidated per month):

  • Ph.D. Holders: ₹42,000/-

  • Others: ₹40,000/-
