Educational Qualifications and Experience

Assistant Professor Grade I

Pay Level: Level-12 (₹1,01,500 per month) + allowances as per GoI norms

Essential

• FPM / Ph.D. or equivalent in the relevant discipline

• First class or equivalent in the preceding degree with excellent academic record

• Minimum 3 years of industrial/research/teaching experience (excluding Ph.D. period)

Desirable

• Teaching experience in IITs / IIMs preferred

• Research publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals

• Ph.D. from reputed international universities encouraged

Age Limit: Preferably up to 35 years

After 3 years of service, the incumbent will move to Academic Level 13A1 (₹1,31,400).

Assistant Professor Grade II (Contract)

Essential

• Ph.D. or equivalent with first class in the preceding degree and good academic record

Desirable

• Research publications and teaching experience

Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis and are awaiting defense may also apply.

Associate Professor

Pay Level: Level-13A2 (₹1,39,600 per month) + allowances

Essential

• Ph.D. / FPM with excellent academic record

• Minimum 6 years of teaching / industry / research experience

• At least 3 years at Assistant Professor Grade-I level

Desirable

• Publications in reputed journals (preferably ABDC ranked journals)

• Research leadership, Ph.D. guidance, consultancy, research projects, and course development

Professor

Pay Level: Level-14A (₹1,59,100 per month) + allowances

Essential

• Ph.D. / FPM with excellent academic record

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience

• At least 4 years as Associate Professor in premier institutes such as IITs, IISc, IIMs, IISERs, etc.

Desirable

• Strong research leadership and publications

• Experience guiding doctoral students and conducting research projects
