Sainik School Goalpara, Assam was established on 12 November 1964. It is a residential institution that provides public school education with the primary objective of preparing cadets for entry into the Defence Services of India.

The school is located on the Goalpara–Matia–Dudhnoi Road, approximately 18 km from Goalpara town near the village Mornai. The campus spans over 505 acres of land and is well connected by Assam State Transport buses and private vehicles.
