Required Qualifications

  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university
  • Associate or Fellowship of Insurance Institute of India or equivalent qualification

Required Experience

  • Minimum 15 years of managerial level experience in Life Insurance or General Insurance companies
  • Candidates should possess a good academic record and flair for teaching

Tenure

  • Three years, renewable annually subject to satisfactory performance evaluation by the Director, College of Insurance (COI), and the Secretary General (III), or attainment of 65 years of age, whichever is earlier

Age Limit

  • Candidates should be between 55 to 62 years as on 30th April 2025

Candidate Profile

  • Retired professionals from the insurance sector preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Life Insurance or General Insurance operations
  • Excellent communication and training skills
  • Ability to design academic and training modules
  • Experience in corporate interaction and research support
  • Passion for teaching and professional development

Responsibilities

The selected candidates will be responsible for:

  • Designing training modules
  • Developing and reviewing academic content
  • Handling classroom sessions and training programs
  • Coordinating training sessions and arranging suitable faculty
  • Interacting with corporates and providing research support
  • Marketing training programs
  • Organising and participating in seminars, webinars, and workshops
  • Supporting activities beneficial to the College of Insurance and Insurance Institute of India

Additionally, candidates will undertake official work and tours related to the College of Insurance / Insurance Institute of India as assigned by the Director (COI) and Secretary General from time to time.
