Continuation of the fellowship:
- First Year to Second Year: Based on satisfactory performance.
- Second Year to Third Year: Based on satisfactory performance and assessment.
Essential Qualifications
- M.Tech or M.Sc in:
- Physics
- Engineering Physics
- Applied Physics
- Materials Science
- Metallurgical Science
from a recognized University/Institution with First Class.
Preferred Qualification
- Valid CSIR-UGC NET or GATE qualification with a good score.
Relaxation
- Relaxation for SC/ST/PH candidates will be provided as per Government of India norms.
Desirable Qualifications
Candidates should have an interest in:
- Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) materials
- Material synthesis and characterization
- Experimental studies on battery materials
- Computational studies on battery materials

Fellowship / Salary
Candidates Selected Through NET/GATE
- Rs. 37,000 + 30% HRA per month (1st & 2nd Year)
- Rs. 42,000 + 30% HRA per month (3rd Year after successful assessment)
Candidates Without NET/GATE
- Rs. 30,000 + 30% HRA per month (1st & 2nd Year)
- Rs. 33,000 + 30% HRA per month (3rd Year after successful assessment)
