Essential Qualifications
- Qualifications shall be the same as prescribed for the appointment of a regular Assistant Professor in Universities and Colleges as per the latest UGC Regulations.
- Candidates must possess the required educational qualifications, NET/Ph.D. eligibility, and academic credentials as applicable under UGC norms.
Age Limit
- Retired teachers may also be considered for appointment.
- Maximum age limit: 70 Years
Candidate Profile
- Strong academic background in the relevant subject.
- Commitment to quality teaching and student mentoring.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to contribute to departmental academic activities.
- Passion for teaching at the undergraduate level.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and practical sessions as assigned.
- Prepare teaching materials and academic resources.
- Conduct assessments and student evaluations.
- Participate in departmental activities and academic initiatives.
- Support curriculum implementation and student development.
Salary Details
- Honorarium of ₹1,500 per lecture.
- Maximum remuneration up to ₹50,000 per month.
- Payment will be made in accordance with UGC Letter No. F.25-1/2018(PS/Misc.) dated 28 January 2019.
