Essential Qualifications
For Horticulture, Dairy Extension, Biotechnology, and Select Agriculture Disciplines
- Good academic record with a Ph.D. in the concerned or allied discipline.
- Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks.
- Minimum 8 years of teaching and/or research experience equivalent to Assistant Professor.
- At least 7 publications in peer-reviewed, NAAS-rated, or UGC-listed journals.
- Minimum research score of 75.
For Engineering, Food Technology, and Agriculture Disciplines
- Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
- First Class or equivalent at Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
- Minimum 6 research publications in SCI journals or UGC/AICTE-approved journals.
- At least 8 years of teaching, research, or industry experience.
- Minimum 2 years of post-Ph.D. experience.
- Research score of 75.
For Veterinary Clinical Complex
- Recognized Veterinary qualification registered with the State Veterinary Council or Veterinary Council of India.
- Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks.
- Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience.
- At least 7 publications.
- Research score of 75.
Desirable Qualifications
- Agronomy: Experience in sugarcane production.
- Sugar Engineering: Experience in the sugar industry.
- Sugar Technology: Experience in sugar technology or sugar industry.
Experience Requirement
- Minimum 8 years of teaching or research experience equivalent to Assistant Professor.
- For Engineering, Food Technology, and Agriculture disciplines, at least 2 years must be post-Ph.D. experience.
Age Limit
- No upper age limit for Associate Professor positions.
