Essential Qualifications
Agriculture, Horticulture, Food Technology & Allied Disciplines
- Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- NET conducted by UGC/CSIR/ICAR or equivalent SLET/SET qualification.
- Candidates holding a Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations 2009/2016 are also eligible.
Engineering Disciplines
- B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. in the relevant branch.
- First Class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
Veterinary Disciplines
- Recognized Veterinary qualification registered with the State Veterinary Council or Veterinary Council of India.
- Relevant Master’s Degree.
- NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D. qualification as applicable.
Desirable Qualification
- For Plant Protection – Plant Pathology, specialization in Nematology is desirable.
Experience
- No minimum teaching experience is prescribed for direct recruitment.
- Teaching, research, or post-doctoral experience will carry weightage during academic score evaluation and shortlisting.
