Essential Qualifications

General Eligibility

• Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
• First Class or equivalent at the preceding degree.
• Consistently strong academic record throughout.

Mathematics Department

Mathematical Sciences Background

• M.Sc. or equivalent in:
  • Mathematics
  • Statistics
  • Operations Research
• Ph.D. in a relevant area.

Computer Science Background

• B.E./B.Tech./B.S. in:
  • Computer Science
  • Mathematics and Computing
  • Information Technology
• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.

School of Innovation

Candidates without a Ph.D. may also be considered subject to fulfillment of the prescribed experience requirements.

Experience Requirements

Assistant Professor Grade I

• Minimum 3 years of teaching, research, or industrial experience.
• Experience gained during Ph.D. will not be counted.

School of Innovation

For candidates without a Ph.D.:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience for Grade II.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience for Grade I.

Age Limit

Salary & Benefits

Assistant Professor Grade II

• Minimum Basic Pay: ₹70,900 per month
• Approximate Total Emoluments (including HRA): ₹1,39,140 per month

Assistant Professor Grade I

• Minimum Basic Pay: ₹1,01,500 per month
• Approximate Total Emoluments (including HRA): ₹1,94,220 per month
