The university became operational on 13 June 2017 and is dedicated to advancing education, research, and extension services in veterinary science, dairy technology, fisheries, and allied animal sciences. BASU encompasses Bihar Veterinary College, Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Dairy Technology, the College of Fisheries, and several research institutes, strengthening animal science education and research in Bihar.

Essential Qualifications

Additional age relaxation is applicable for:

Salary

Selected candidates will be appointed under the 7th Central Pay Commission:

  • Associate Professor: Academic Level-13A
  • Assistant Professor: Academic Level-10

Additional allowances will be provided as per Bihar Government and University rules.
