Educational Qualification
Applicants should possess the following qualifications:
- MBBS degree recognized under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- Postgraduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB) in the relevant specialty from a recognized teaching institution.
- Super Specialty qualification (DM/M.Ch./DrNB) in Cardiology or the relevant subject from a recognized institution.
- Candidates must fulfill all eligibility criteria prescribed by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and other applicable regulatory authorities.
Experience
- Relevant teaching, clinical, and research experience in Cardiology.
- Experience in medical education, patient care, and hospital administration will be preferred.
- Strong commitment to academic excellence, clinical practice, and research activities.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases.
- Conducting outpatient and inpatient clinical services.
- Performing and interpreting diagnostic procedures including ECG, Echo, TMT, CT, MRI, and other cardiac investigations.
- Supervising residents, junior faculty, and postgraduate students.
- Developing treatment plans and providing comprehensive cardiac care.
- Participating in cardiac interventions and specialty procedures as required.
- Maintaining patient records and ensuring quality healthcare delivery.
- Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
- Conducting research, publishing scientific papers, and participating in clinical trials.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Participating in academic activities, conferences, CMEs, and departmental development.
- Providing patient counseling and preventive healthcare education.
