The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Kolkata, was established in 2007 under the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India, as a Centre of Excellence for higher education, research, and development in Pharmaceutical Sciences. It is one of the seven NIPER institutes established to strengthen pharmaceutical education and research in India and to provide leadership in pharmaceutical sciences across South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Africa.
NIPER Kolkata offers postgraduate and doctoral programmes in various pharmaceutical disciplines including Medicinal Chemistry, Natural Products, Pharmacoinformatics, Pharmacology & Toxicology, Pharmaceutics, and Pharmaceutical Analysis. Educational Qualification
Associate Professor
- Ph.D. with First Class or equivalent grade in the preceding degree.
- Excellent academic record.
- Minimum 8 years of teaching, research, or industrial experience after Master’s degree (excluding Ph.D. period).
Desirable
- Postgraduate qualification in Pharmaceutical Analysis.
- Expertise in Pharmaceutical & Bio-Analytical Techniques.
- AQbD, Impurity Profiling, cGMP, GLP, ICH Guidelines.
- Hands-on experience with HPLC, LC-MS/MS, and GC-MS.
Assistant Registrar
- Master’s Degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of supervisory experience.
- At least 5 years in the immediate lower grade.
- Experience in Establishment, Examination, or Finance.
Receptionist-cum-Telephone Operator
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Good communication skills.
Desirable
- Computer proficiency.
- Front office or event coordination experience.
Junior Technical Assistant
- Senior Secondary (10+2) with Science subjects.
Desirable
- Computer knowledge.
Experience
