The Department of Electrical Engineering has announced a Walk-in Interview for the engagement of Guest Faculty on a purely temporary basis for the August 2026 – December 2026 academic session.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates should possess any one of the following qualifications:

Option 1

  • B.E./B.Tech in the relevant branch with First Class or equivalent.
  • M.E./M.Tech in the relevant branch with First Class or equivalent.

Option 2

  • B.E./B.Tech in the relevant branch with First Class or equivalent.
  • Ph.D. in the relevant branch from a recognized university.

Salary Details

Payment will be made on an hourly basis as per Delhi Technological University norms.

Professor

  • Theory: ₹2,750 per hour
  • Laboratory: ₹1,375 per hour
  • Maximum Monthly Ceiling: ₹70,000

Associate Professor / Assistant Professor (Completed 3 years in AGP ₹8,000 under 6th CPC)

  • Theory: ₹2,250 per hour
  • Laboratory: ₹1,125 per hour
  • Maximum Monthly Ceiling: ₹70,000

Assistant Professor (Others)

  • Theory: ₹1,750 per hour
  • Laboratory: ₹875 per hour
  • Maximum Monthly Ceiling: ₹52,000

Teaching Allowance (TA)

  • Professor / Associate Professor: ₹800
  • Assistant Professor: ₹500
