This opportunity provides hands-on experience in advanced power electronics research with the possibility of Ph.D. registration at NIT Tiruchirappalli, subject to institute norms.

Project Duration
The initial appointment is for one year, extendable up to three years based on satisfactory performance or until the completion of the project.
Educational Qualification
For Junior Research Fellow (JRF):
- B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering with First Class.
- Valid GATE Score is mandatory.
- Preference will be given to candidates possessing M.E./M.Tech. in Power Electronics or Power Electronics & Drives with First Class.
For Project Associate-I:
- B.E./B.Tech. in the above-mentioned disciplines with First Class.
- Preference for candidates with M.E./M.Tech. in Power Electronics or equivalent specialization.
Salary
JRF (GATE Qualified):
- ₹37,000 + HRA per month (First two years)
- ₹42,000 + HRA per month (Third year)
Project Associate-I (Non-GATE):
- ₹30,000 + HRA per month (First two years)
- ₹33,000 + HRA per month (Third year)
Age Limit
- Maximum age: 32 years
- Age relaxation applicable as per Government of India norms.
Job Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be involved in:
- Design and development of advanced power electronic converters.
- Simulation and analysis of converter topologies.
- Development of advanced modulation techniques.
- Hardware prototype development and PCB testing.
- Experimental validation and performance analysis.
- Technical report preparation and publication of research papers in reputed journals and conferences.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting based on academic qualifications and eligibility.
- Offline interview at NIT Tiruchirappalli.
- Original certificates will be verified during the interview.
