Essential Qualifications
Candidates must possess:
- M.Sc. in Life Sciences, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 65% marks or equivalent CGPA/CGPI.
- Candidates with a Ph.D. from a recognized institution are also eligible to apply.
Desirable Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates having experience in:
- Antimicrobial resistance (AMR)
- Phage therapy
- Next Generation Sequencing (NGS)
- Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS)
- Sanger Sequencing
- Metagenomics
- Sequencing data analysis
- Sample collection
- Culture and isolation of resistant pathogens
Experience Required
Applicants should preferably have:
- Minimum 2 years of research or academic experience
- Qualified GATE, NET, or any equivalent national-level eligibility examination
- At least one research publication in a UGC-approved, SCI, or Scopus-indexed journal
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 32 years as on the last date of application
- Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government and University norms.
Salary
- ₹42,000 per month (Consolidated)
