Essential Qualification
Candidates applying for either position must possess:
- B.E./B.Tech. in any branch of Engineering/Technology
- MBA/PGDM, preferably with specialization in HR
- First Class in either qualification
- Degree from a recognized University
Experience Required
Assistant Professor of Practice (Training & Placement)
Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of industry experience, preferably in:
- Recruitment
- Training & Placement activities
- Officer/In-charge of Training & Placement at a degree-level institution
- Managerial-level positions or above
The position should have a pay level not below Level-8 as per 7th CPC.
Professor of Practice (Training & Placement)
Candidates should have a minimum of 15 years of industry experience in recruitment/HR processes.
Additionally:
- At least 3 years should be in a position equivalent to Level-13A under the 7th CPC
- Experience should be at senior managerial level or above
Important Experience Condition
For both positions, only experience gained in companies having an annual turnover of at least ₹500 crore will be considered.
Salary / Pay Level
Pay will be according to the Group A pay matrix under DTU norms.
Assistant Professor of Practice (T&P): Not below Level-8, 7th CPC
Professor of Practice (T&P): Level-13A, 7th CPC
