Assistant Professor – Social Work

Candidates should possess a Ph.D. in the advertised subject/specialization along with a Master’s Degree in the concerned, relevant or allied subject with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
The Ph.D. should satisfy the applicable UGC regulations governing the award of doctoral degrees.
Candidates whose Ph.D. registration was prior to 11 July 2009 will be considered according to the applicable provisions, subject to fulfillment of the prescribed conditions concerning Ph.D. evaluation, viva voce, research publications and academic presentations.
Assistant Professor – Education

Route 1
Candidates should have:
- Ph.D. in the advertised area/specialization
- Master’s Degree in Education with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade
OR
- Ph.D. in the advertised area/specialization
- M.Sc./M.A. in any subject with at least 55% marks
- B.Ed. with at least 55% marks
The Ph.D. must comply with the applicable UGC regulations.
Foreign Ph.D. Route
Candidates with a Ph.D. from a foreign university/institution ranked among the top 500 globally under recognized ranking systems such as QS, Times Higher Education or ARWU may also be eligible, subject to the conditions prescribed by Tezpur University.

Appointment Duration
