Project Title

“Structure based development of key antimalarial inhibitors/drugs against Plasmodium metacaspases and validation in vitro and in vivo systems”

Eligibility

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Life Science / Structural Biology and fulfil the applicable ICMR research scheme guidelines.

Desirable Experience

Experience in gene cloning, site-directed mutagenesis, protein expression in E. coli and yeast, protein purification, crystallization, X-ray structural analysis, molecular modelling, molecular dynamics simulations and in-vivo experiments will be preferred.

Age Limit

35 years, with applicable age relaxation as specified in the recruitment notification.

The appointment is purely contractual and project-based. Continuation will depend on satisfactory performance, with evaluation every three months.
