Essential Qualifications
Candidates should possess a Postgraduate Degree in Basic Science or a Graduate/Postgraduate Degree in a Professional Course, selected through any of the following routes:
- National Eligibility Tests such as CSIR-UGC NET, including Lectureship/Assistant Professorship, or GATE.
- Selection through national-level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments, Agencies, and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
Candidates must have secured at least 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale.
Desirable Knowledge / Experience
Preference will be given to candidates having:
- Strong fundamentals in Plasma Physics, Microwave, and Antenna Design & Development.
- Expertise in Metamaterial antenna modelling and simulation.
- Programming skills in MATLAB, Python, HFSS, CST, or ADS.
- Prior research or project experience in relevant areas.
Emoluments
As per DOS norms.
Duration
The appointment will be for one year or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.

Selection Process
Selection will be through a walk-in interview. The decision of the expert panel constituted for the interview will be final.
The selected candidate will be required to join immediately and work dedicatedly toward successful completion of the time-bound project. The terms and conditions of appointment will be governed by DOS/ISRO norms.
