Project Associate-I Vacancy
IISER Pune is inviting applications for the following position:
Post: Project Associate-I
The position is associated with work requiring expertise in Organic Chemistry, particularly areas related to carbohydrate chemistry and process development.
Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess:
- A Master’s degree in Chemistry with specialization in Organic Chemistry or related areas.
Preferred Experience
Candidates having at least one year of relevant process development experience in carbohydrate chemistry will be preferred.
Relevant experience includes:
- Organic synthesis
- Reaction optimization
- Purification
- Characterization
- Work involving routine carbohydrate molecules
Salary / Emoluments
The consolidated monthly emoluments are:
- ₹30,000 + 30% House Rent Allowance (HRA) for eligible candidates.
- ₹37,000 + 30% HRA for candidates possessing a valid CSIR-NET / GATE / DBT-JRF / any other National Level Test conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies, or an equivalent scorecard.
Duration
The position is available up to 31st March 2027.

- Certificate regarding date of birth.
- Mark sheets and certificates from 10th standard onwards relating to educational qualifications.
