Educational Qualification
Professor
Candidates should meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Eminent scholar with a Ph.D. degree in the concerned subject and actively engaged in research.
- Minimum 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
- Minimum Research Score of 120 as per Appendix II, Table 2 of UGC Regulations, 2018.
- Minimum 10 years of teaching experience in a university/college as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor, or equivalent research experience.
OR
An outstanding professional with a Ph.D. in the concerned subject from an academic institution or industry who has made a significant contribution to knowledge.
Associate Professor
Candidates should have:
- Good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in the concerned subject.
- Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
- Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience in an academic/research position equivalent to Assistant Professor.
- Experience in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution.
- Minimum 7 publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
- Research Score of at least 75 as per Appendix II, Table 2 of UGC Regulations, 2018.
Assistant Professor
Candidates should have:
- Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in the concerned subject from an Indian University or accredited foreign university.
- 5% relaxation, from 55% to 50%, is applicable to SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates as stated in the recruitment details.
- Must have cleared NET/CSIR-NET conducted by UGC-CSIR or SET-NE in the concerned subject.
Exemption from NET/SLET/SET
Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC Regulations 2009/2016 and amendments are exempted from NET/SLET/SET, as stated in the recruitment information.
