Educational Qualifications

For Pedagogy (Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, History and Geography):

  • Postgraduate degree in the relevant discipline with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade.
  • B.Ed. degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade.
  • NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D., as applicable under the relevant UGC regulations and notification.

For Educational Studies:

  • Postgraduate degree in Education (M.Ed.) with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade.
  • NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D. in Education, or another qualification prescribed under the applicable UGC regulations.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • For Pedagogy posts: M.Ed., M.Ed. with specialization, or Ph.D. in Education.
  • For Educational Studies: Master’s degree in Psychology, Philosophy, Sociology, or an allied subject.

Selection Process

  1. Screening of applications according to the applicable UGC/NCTE guidelines and regulations.
  2. Interview for shortlisted candidates.

Note: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
