Educational Qualifications
Post 1: Rasa Shastra Bhaishajya Kalpana
Candidates must possess either:
- M.D. (Ayurveda) with specialization in Rasa Shastra Bhaishajya Kalpana from a recognized university or institute, with adequate knowledge of Sanskrit; OR
- M.Sc. in Ayurveda Biology with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade, along with NET/JRF in Ayurveda Biology and adequate knowledge of Sanskrit.
Post 2: Ayurvedam Samhita or Maulik Siddhant
Candidates must possess either:
- M.D. (Ayurveda) with specialization in Ayurvedam Samhita or Maulik Siddhant, with adequate knowledge of Sanskrit; OR
- M.Sc. in Ayurveda Biology with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade, along with NET/JRF in Ayurveda Biology and adequate knowledge of Sanskrit.
Candidates must also satisfy the applicable eligibility requirements specified in the official notification and relevant UGC regulations.
Age Limit
No specific age limit is prescribed. Retired teachers may also be considered, subject to the maximum age limit of 70 years.
Honorarium
- ₹1,500 per lecture.
- Maximum honorarium: ₹50,000 per month.
Guest faculty members are not entitled to the allowances, pension, gratuity, leave, or other benefits available to regular university teachers.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting based on the academic score prescribed under the applicable UGC Regulations, 2018, for interview purposes.
- Interview, with final selection based on interview performance.
Only shortlisted candidates will be informed of the interview through email.
