Educational Qualifications
1. TGT – Mathematics, Science and English
Candidates must satisfy either of the following qualification routes:
Route 1: Integrated degree
- Four-year integrated degree from an NCTE-recognized university.
- At least 50% marks in the concerned subject and in aggregate, including the B.Ed. component.
- The concerned subject should be Mathematics, English or Science, preferably Physics for the Science position.
Route 2: Bachelor’s degree plus B.Ed.
- Bachelor’s or Honours degree from a recognized university, with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject, required subject combination and aggregate.
- B.Ed. degree from an NCTE-recognized institution or university, with at least 50% marks.
Additional requirements:
- Qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), Paper II, conducted by CBSE.
- Proficiency in teaching through English medium.
Desirable qualifications:
- Postgraduate degree in the relevant subject, such as Mathematics, Physics or English.
