Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- M.Sc. in Chemistry, Physics or Computer Science.
- Minimum 55% marks in the qualifying degree.
- Must have qualified CSIR/UGC NET or GATE.
Desirable Qualifications
- Knowledge of microbial techniques.
- Experience in Genetic Engineering.
- Knowledge of biochemical techniques.
- Interest in quantum chemistry, simulations and algorithm development.
Age Limit
Maximum 30 years.
Candidate Profile
Candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- M.Sc. graduate in Chemistry, Physics or Computer Science.
- Valid CSIR/UGC NET or GATE qualification.
- Interest in quantum chemistry, simulations and algorithm development.
- Ability to work carefully and consistently on long-term research projects.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of microbial, genetic engineering and biochemical techniques will be an added advantage.
Roles and Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Carrying out research work under the ANRF-sponsored project.
- Participating in simulations and studies related to confined quantum systems.
- Supporting research on nonlinear optical response.
- Assisting in quantum algorithm development.
- Recording research findings and preparing project reports.
- Assisting in the preparation of research publications.
- Working under the guidance of the Project Investigator.
- Collaborating with research team members and fellow scholars.
Salary and Fellowship
- Monthly Fellowship: ₹37,000 plus HRA (House Rent Allowance).
- Project Duration: 1 year.
- Extension: Extendable up to 3 years, subject to project requirements and applicable conditions.
