Organisation Profile: The Indian Grassland and Fodder Research Institute(ICAR), established in 1962,has played a key role in promoting interdisciplinary research, training, and extension initiatives on all facets of fodder production and consumption. It has given farmers, agribusiness, and government and non-governmental organizations technology, expertise in human resource development, and technical services on fodder production and utilization. This has been made possible by the kind support and direction of Dr. T. Mohapatra, the Director General of the ICAR in New Delhi and Secretary of DARE. In order to meet the location-specific R&D needs of the humid tropics (at Dharwad), semi-arid and desert regions (at Avikanagar), and temperate regions (at Srinagar/Palmpur), it has three regional stations.

Designation: Young Professional-II

Duration: Selected candidates shall be engaged for a period upto 31.03.2025 and extendable as per need of the organization and the performance of the candidate.

Emolument: Rs. 35000/-p.m. fixed (consolidated)

Project Entitled: National Agriculture Innovation Fund (NAIF) Component-II (Agri Business Incubation)

Essential/Desirable Qualification:

Essential:

• MBA(Agri Business) with 4 year of B.Sc.(Agriculture)/B.V.Sc./B.Tech(Ag.Engineering) Or
• Master’s degree in Agricultural Science/Engineering/Technology/Veterinary science

Desirable:

• One or more year of experience in Agribusiness management/ Agribusiness incubation/ entrepreneurship development/Agri marketing/ Assessment and evaluation of startup projects/experience in working with the startup ecosystem or in any area related to startup and entrepreneurs.
• Proficiency in computer (MS Office,graphics & designs, Data extraction,handling, etc) and data management having good communication skills and use of social
  media tools.
