Organisation Profile: Sri Sai Ranganathan Engineering College is promoted and nourished by Ranganathan Rajeswari Charitable Trust, Coimbatore. The purpose of SSREC Coimbatore, was to provide the state’s youth with high-quality technical education. It was founded in 2007.It is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and approved by AICTE.Drs. R. and P. Tamilarasi Murugesan are the minds behind the trust. Dr. R Murugesan, a multifaceted individual dedicated to serving the underprivileged with a charitable spirit, was the previous president of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), located in New Delhi. He holds a degree in civil engineering from the University of Madras and has worked in academia and business for about 40 years. He had worked for several polytechnic and engineering colleges in a variety of roles, from professor to principal.
The goal is to create a center of learning that will provide high-quality education using cutting-edge technology and constant improvement to achieve excellence in the fields of engineering and management. The focus will be on knowledge development to develop problem-solving skills and to prepare graduates to meet ethical standards and global requirements.
