Organization Profile

The Agricultural College, Mahanandi was established on 18 August 1991 in the premises of the Regional Agricultural Research Station (Cotton Research Station) under the leadership of Dr. A. Satyanarayana Reddy, Associate Director of Research, as the founder Principal.

The college was later shifted to its present campus at M.C. Farm, Mahanandi on 9 February 1996. Since then, it has progressed significantly in infrastructure and academic excellence, completing over 25 years of service in agricultural education.

Essential Qualifications

a) Ph.D. in the relevant subject
OR
b) Master’s Degree in the relevant subject

Additionally:

  • Bachelor’s Degree of 4/5 years with First Division or equivalent OGPA

  • Minimum 3 years of teaching / research experience, supported by Fellowship / Associateship / Training / other engagements

  • At least one research paper published in SCI / NAAS-rated (≥ 4.0) Journal

Duration

11 months from the date of joining or till filling up of the regular post, whichever is earlier.

Remuneration

  • ₹61,000/- per month + applicable HRA for Master’s Degree holders

  • ₹67,000/- per month + applicable HRA for Ph.D. Degree holders
