Organization Profile: AIIMS Raipur is one of the SIX AIIMS healthcare institutes being established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY).

With the aim of correcting regional imbalances in quality tertiary level healthcare in the country, and attaining self sufficiency in graduate and postgraduate medical education and training the PMSSY planned to set up 6 new AIIMS like institutions in under served areas of the country.

 Eligibility Criteria

Applications are being accepted for the AIIMS Raipur Faculty Recruitment 2024 for several jobs, including Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor, and Additional Professor.

Education & Experience

• Professor: 
  • Medical: Full medical degree (MD/MS) with fourteen years of academic teaching and research experience
  • Non-Medical: A doctorate, a master’s degree, and fourteen years of research and teaching experience

• Additional Professor:
  • Medical: MD/MS or equivalent, 10 years of experience in research and teaching
  • Non-Medical: A doctorate, a master’s degree, and ten years of research or teaching experience

• Associate Professor: 
  • Medical: MD/MS or equivalent, with 6 years of experience in research and teaching
  • Non-Medical: a doctorate, a master’s degree, and a minimum of 6 years of research or teaching experience
• Assistant Professor:
• Medical: Two doctoral degrees (MD/MS or equivalent) and three years of academic experience required.
• Non-Medical: A doctorate, a master’s degree, and three years of research or teaching experience

Age Limit

• Professor & Additional Professor: Not Exceeding 58 Years
• Associate Professor & Assistant Professor: Not Exceeding 50 Years

Pay Scale:

• Professor: Level- 14A (168900 – 220400)
• Additional Professor: Level- 13A2+ (148200 – 211400)
• Associate Professor: Level- 13A1+ (138300 – 209200)
• Assistant Professor: Level- 12 (101500 – 167400)
