Organisation Profile: The Amar Jyoti Institute of Physiotherapy has started by educating and training physiotherapy practitioners as a first step in fulfilling its overarching goal of meeting society’s healthcare requirements. Physiotherapy is viewed by the Institute’s faculty and management as a profession whose main goal is to promote human health and function by applying scientific principles to the identification, assessment, correction, and/or prevention of conditions resulting from various pathologies and/or movement dysfunction.

The bio-behavioural sciences provide a comprehensive foundation for this professional training, from which students acquire the values and skills required to operate in a complex and evolving health care setting.
