Job Summary

Aries Polytechnic College invites applications for the position of Principal for the academic year 2025–2026. The Principal will be responsible for leading academic operations, administration, faculty management, regulatory compliance, and overall institutional development as per AICTE and SBTET norms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Academic Leadership

  • Oversee curriculum planning, academic operations, and timetable design.

  • Ensure high-quality teaching, learning, and evaluation.

  • Implement innovative teaching practices and skill-based programs.

  • Monitor student academic performance and take corrective actions.

2. Administrative Management

  • Oversee day-to-day administrative operations.

  • Maintain statutory documents and compliance records.

  • Coordinate with management, staff, students, and external agencies.

3. Staff Management

  • Recruit qualified faculty and staff as per norms.

  • Conduct staff evaluations, training, and development programs.

  • Maintain discipline and adherence to institutional policies.

4. Student Affairs

  • Ensure safety and discipline across the campus.

  • Address student grievances effectively.

  • Promote extracurricular, technical, and placement activities.

5. Regulatory Compliance

  • Maintain compliance with AICTE, SBTET, and AP POLYCET admission processes.

  • Prepare reports and documents for inspections and approvals.

6. Infrastructure & Resource Planning

  • Oversee maintenance of facilities, labs, equipment, and library.

  • Plan infrastructure upgrades and resource enhancements.

7. Financial & Operational Oversight

  • Assist in budgeting and fund management.

  • Monitor fee collection and grant utilization.

8. Industry & Community Relations

  • Build partnerships with industry for placements, training, and internships.

  • Represent the institution in academic and community platforms.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s Degree with First Class in Engineering/Technology (Ph.D. preferred).

  • 10–15 years of experience in teaching/administration.

  • 3–5 years of leadership experience required.

  • Strong understanding of AICTE norms and Polytechnic regulations.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

Pay Scale

As per AICTE norms and institutional policies.
