Positions Available:

  1. Associate Professor – Biotechnology

  2. Professor – Biotechnology

Employment Type: Full-Time

Qualification:

  • M.Tech in Biotechnology (or closely related discipline) with Ph.D. in relevant field

  • First class or equivalent at Bachelor’s and Master’s levels

  • UG and PG degrees from AICTE-approved institutions in full-time mode

Experience:

  • Associate Professor: Minimum 8 years in teaching/research/industry, with at least 2 years post-Ph.D.

  • Professor: Minimum 10–12 years in teaching/research/industry, with at least 3 years in a post equivalent to Associate Professor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in biotechnology and related subdomains (Medical, Agricultural, Industrial, Environmental, Bioinformatics, Nano-Biotechnology)

  • Conduct laboratory sessions and supervise student research projects and internships

  • Lead high-impact research projects and publish in reputed journals (SCI/UGC/AICTE-approved)

  • Guide Ph.D., postgraduate, and undergraduate students in research and academic projects

  • Collaborate with industry and research organizations for joint projects and consultancy

  • Contribute to curriculum development, departmental administration, and accreditation processes (ISO, NBA, NAAC, NIRF, etc.)

  • Mentor faculty colleagues and promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and patents

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Strong fundamentals in biotechnology principles

  • Proven research record with publications and Ph.D. supervision

  • Excellent teaching, communication, leadership, and teamwork skills

  • Industrial experience preferred
