Essential Qualifications

For English, Convergent Journalism, Kashmiri & Plant Sciences

  1. Good academic record with a Ph.D. in the concerned / allied / relevant discipline

  2. Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade

  3. Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience equivalent to Assistant Professor

  4. At least 7 research publications in international databases (Scopus / Web of Science, etc.)

  5. Research score of 75 as per UGC Regulations 2018 (Appendix II, Table 2)

For Civil Engineering

  1. Ph.D. in the relevant field with First Class or equivalent at Bachelor’s or Master’s level

  2. Minimum 6 research publications in SCI / Scopus / AICTE / Web of Science journals

  3. At least 8 years of teaching / research / industry experience, including 2 years post-Ph.D.

Desirable Specializations (Civil Engineering):
Hydrological Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Environmental Engineering

Academic Level 13A (7th CPC): ₹1,31,400 – ₹2,17,100
